What went on at the launch event for our second glass, Podio.

Last week, our Milan studio transformed into a scenography to unveil Podio—our newest bifunctional glass that merges water and fire. This launch event brought together design enthusiasts, collaborators, and creatives to celebrate the unique concept behind Podio.

The Launch Event
The evening was all about highlighting the versatility of Podio. One side of the glass functions as a drinking cup, perfect for beverages ranging from refreshing cocktails to comforting teas. Flip it over, and it transforms into a tealight candle holder, inviting warmth and ambiance into any space. The space was transformed using dimmed lights, with many candles held by the Podio glass. Many glasses were stacked in columns creating sculptures and some glasses were filled with different liquids from milk, to wine and tea, featuring the multi purpose character of this glass. 

Collaborations

• The event featured catering by Sabina from Lido Liquor Bar, Milan, who curated an aperitivo that celebrated raw fruits and vegetables in their most natural forms. 
  
  
• Studio Notte showcased a steel candelabra, creating an intimate and cohesive setting that framed Podio’s functionality as a candle holder.
  
  
• Simone Marchetti, wrote a curatorial text that talked about water and fire, two forces we can't live without.
